KKN Children’s Holiday Shopping Day

This is an annual event for children, aged 3-12, to shop independently for holiday gifts.

​It is a wonderful experience for Nook volunteers, parents and the young shoppers. Volunteers enjoy the interaction with the children, witnessing the thought and care put into gift selection. Parents enjoy sitting around a warm fire outside, with cookies and warm cider, chatting with friends while their children shop. And most importantly the children enjoy choosing gifts, on their own, that they know their family will absolutely adore.

​We all love the fact that shopping at the Nook has a positive environmental and social impact on our community. We look forward to this event every year!
