Songwriting Workshop – All Ages / Experience Levels Welcome
Join Bowen-raised Sarah Jane Scouten for a free songwriting workshop! She’ll share her long-honed knowledge of crafting songs, earning her four Canadian Folk Music Award nominations.
All ages, levels, and genres of songwriter welcome, whether you’re new to songwriting or have written songs before.
Registration is required – please register below. If you register but then find you won’t be able make it, no problem, just email us at info@bowenlibrary.ca as early as you can.
Song-Share 2-3 pm
After the workshop, from 2-3pm, the Library will host a drop-in / optional song-share for those who’d like to stay and share their original songs or song ideas with others! Feel free to bring an instrument. We’ll have a guitar and an electric piano available.
