Bowen Library Charitable Foundation

About the Foundation

The Bowen Island Public Library Foundation is a registered charitable foundation that supports the activities of the Bowen Island Library by raising funds for facility improvements, equipment, furnishings, materials, and programs and services. The Foundation was an active player in fundraising for our Annie Laurie Wood Annex and Gallery extension to the library building.

The Foundation is governed by a board of directors. For more detailed information about the Foundation you can read the Foundation Constitution and Bylaws.

How to Donate

Gifts, donations and bequests can all be made to the Foundation, and tax receipts are issued for all donations of $20 or more.

If you are interested in making a tax deductible donation to the Library Foundation, you can donate online through Canada Helps using a credit card, and a tax receipt will be automatically sent to you. You can choose a specific fund to donate to, or to general support. Click the Donate Now button below.

We also accept donations by cash and cheque, bequests, and other ways to donate.
